ABOUT TIGER MOUNTAIN
Tiger Mountain is an electronic collective that creates music with beats, soundscapes, digital, analog and found sounds. Their sound encompasses cinematic and abstract backgrounds to structured rhythmic oscillations. Following on from debut EP “Celestial Machines”, the aptly named compilation “Sound Tracks”, and singled “White Nights” , Tiger Mountain returnes with a 2019 EP, “Structures.” The 5 tracks that span the aural canvas from industrial beats and hypnotic bass lines to 4-on-the-floor grooves to cerebral transmissions. Swiss artist Marena Whitcher provides guest vocals.

The film fluctuates across moods and landscapes ranging from the beatific to the frenetic. Synth collective Tiger Mountain provides an soundtrack that ties the visually stimulating images to a larger environment.

Filmed from 2009 to 2015 in New York, DC, California and Texas, this solo exhibition by Michelle Repiso features a series of framed photographs and projections. Tiger Mountain scored the film and provided live music for the opening in New York City, April 2016.
